1972 World Series Game 7
Start of the Dynasty
Athletics vs Cincinnati
3 – 2
22 October, 1972
The early 1970s were a dynasty for Oakland, with the team winning back-to-back-to-back championships in 1972, 1973 and 1974. The first championship of the decade was won in Game 7, and it went down to the final out. Up by only a run, Oakland’s Rollie Fingers faced Pete Rose with Darrel Chaney already on base. Rose connected and drove the ball to left center, but Joe Rudi ran it down to get Oakland the win and the first of the three championships.

Combine your love for vibrant prints and a sporty style with a cool drawstring bag. It’s a must-have gym essential that can be worn as a backpack with drawstring closure at top, and narrow, contrasting shoulder straps. – Bag size 15×17 – Maximum weight limit 33lbs (15kg) – Twin cotton handles – Drawstring closure – 100% spun polyester fabric
